Montana Surf Soccer Club exists to provide positive, high-quality soccer experiences and opportunities for youth athletes throughout the Gallatin Valley. Through our programs, events, and facilities, we foster positivity, sportsmanship, and resilience. Through the Surf Nation network, our players gain exposure and pathways previously unavailable in our region.

Our Story
40 Years of Youth Soccer in Bozeman.
Montana Surf's roots run deep. For more than 40 years, our organization—originally founded as Blitzz FC—has been the heart of youth soccer in the Gallatin Valley. What began as a volunteer-driven community club has grown into Gallatin Valley's largest youth sports organization, serving more than 1,300 athletes annually. In 2020, we affiliated with Surf Nation—one of the most respected soccer development networks in the country—becoming Montana Surf Soccer Club. The partnership brought access to a national coaching network, expanded programming, and a direct pathway for our top athletes to compete at the highest levels.

We believe the opportunity to benefit from youth sports must be available to all—regardless of background, ability, or financial circumstances. That belief drives everything from our Free Soccer Initiative to our scholarship programs to the way our coaches interact with every player, every day.
What Makes Us Different
The Only Club in Montana With This Level of Access.
Montana Surf is not just another youth soccer club. We are the only club in Montana with a direct pathway to the national Surf Select program. We are a founding member of the Mountain West NPL. We are the first Montana club accepted into the Development Player League. And we are the only club in the state with a dedicated Free Soccer Initiative that eliminates every barrier to entry for families in need.
