Junior Premier League FAQ’s

  • Do I have to be part of a Surf club to try out? 
    • NO! Any athletes from any club in Montana are welcome to tryout
  • Who will be on the teams? 
    • Teams will be comprised of players from around the state, not only Montana Surf. The team will be based out of Bozeman
  • What happens if my athlete is selected to be on a team? 
    • Once your player is offered a spot on the roster, there will be a non-refundable deposit due.
  • What if my athlete can’t attend all three events? 
    • To maintain a smaller roster and team cohesiveness, players will be expected to attend all three events.
  • What will the roster size be? 
    • Roster will be capped at 16 per team
  • What does training look like? 
    • Teams will train together before each event and training will include both field, classroom and online sessions
  • Who will the coaches be? 
    • There will be coaches from MT Surf as well as many other clubs around Montana. Coaches will be announced with team rosters. If you are interested in coaching, Apply Here
  • What will it cost? 
    • Until the locations are set, it is hard to give a specific number. There will be an initial payment due when you accept your roster spot. This will be $300 (payment plans will be  available). This will cover team registration, US Club costs &  admin/registrar costs. Each event will have an event fee that will cover coaches costs, referees, and training. The cost for each event is expected to be between $225-$325 per event.
