MONTANA YOUTH SOCCER’S “STATE CUP” COMES TO BOZEMAN
Best Teams in State Compete for “Montana State Champion” Title
(Bozeman, MT, May 20, 2022) – This weekend Montana’s 44 best soccer teams will convene in Bozeman to compete in the MYSA Montana State Cup. Participating 13U-19U teams will vie for the title of “Montana State Champion,” and the winners will qualify for either the US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships or President’s Cup. This year’s Montana State Cup is co-hosted by Bozeman soccer clubs, Montana Surf Soccer Club and Gallatin Elite and games will be played at the Bozeman Sports Park, Belgrade Soccer Fields and Bronken Fields.
“We are looking forward to a weekend of intense competition to determine this year’s Montana State Champions. Bozeman’s central location makes it an ideal location for players to convene from across our large state. The last time we held the State Cup in Bozeman was in 1996,” said Jeff Schoonover, Executive Director of Montana Youth Soccer Association.
The Montana State Cup is sponsored by Dovetail Construction, Schlauch Bottcher Construction, Lehrkind’s, Kenyon Noble, Bozeman Brick and Lone Peak Performance.
