SURF’S MACKENZIE TURNER WINS MYSA SCHOLARSHIP

Turner Chosen from Statewide Pool of Applicants for Prestigious Soccer Scholarship

 

(Bozeman, MT, April 27, 2022) –  Belgrade High School senior Mackenzie Turner, along with 9 other outstanding student athletes from across Montana, was just awarded Montana Youth Soccer’s High School Senior Scholarship. Turner has a 4.0 GPA and will be attending Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she will major in Forensic Science and play soccer. Scholarship winners receive $500 towards their post-secondary education, and during the application process must demonstrate the importance of soccer in their lives. Turner plays soccer for Belgrade High School and Montana Surf Soccer Club and has shown excellence on the field and in the classroom.
